Once a piece of art leaves your hands, you cannot go back and scan it again. Make a high-resolution master first.
Photograph or scan the finished work in good, even light before you sell, ship, or print it. That one file lets you make prints, covers, and merch later without losing quality.
Shoot or scan at the highest resolution you can.
Keep the original file untouched, and edit a copy.
Name each master with the title and the year so it is easy to find.
Next step: browse our artwork to see how finished pieces are presented.
