Plan Your Release Before Release Day

A release works best when most of the work is finished before the day arrives. Pick a release date, then work backward from it.

Finish the cover art and the song details first, because everything else depends on them. Then tell your audience more than once before the day, not only on the day.

• Choose the date and share it early.
• Finish the artwork, the song title, and the credits before you upload.
• Plan at least a few posts leading up to release day, and one after.
